Autumn Harvest Cooking Class for People with Physical Disabilities

November 30th, 1:00pm-3:30pm; at Laurel’s Kitchen in MANNA Food bank 627 Swannanoa River Rd., Asheville, NC 28805-2445 (it will be in the last warehouse bldg. on your right)
Join the Slow Food Asheville FEAST program as we get together with the MS community of WNC and learn how to prepare a heart-warming healthy soup and savory muffins……oh, and don’t forget all the fun we will have together!

Learn cooking techniques, health benefits of the ingredients, and how to cook a quick healthy meal with ease. We will discuss adaptive tools and tips for assistance in the kitchen.  After cooking, we can all sit down together and enjoy our wonderful meal!  We will have containers available for everyone to take home some leftovers, along with the recipes.  We will also have a recipe for some holiday sweet treats!

This class is a fundraiser for the Slow Food Asheville FEAST program; all proceeds go to FEAST.
